Moses Tembe Opens Up About Anele Tembe’s Tragic Passing.

 

In an exclusive interview with the SABC, Moses Tembe shares his perspective on the untimely death of his daughter, Anele Tembe.

Anele, who was in a relationship with the late Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, tragically passed away on April 11, 2021, after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town.

AKA, who was himself tragically shot dead in February 2023, spoke about Anele’s death in an interview, suggesting that she had exhibited suicidal tendencies prior to her passing.

Moses Tembe, however, believes there may have been foul play involved in Anele’s death. He suggests that she may have been left unattended after being recognized by someone on the street, leading to suspicions of wrongdoing.

Despite rumors linking him to AKA’s death, Moses denies any involvement, expressing a desire for closure through legal proceedings involving AKA. He describes AKA as someone he respected and accepted as a potential son-in-law.

Reflecting on the moment he learned of his daughter’s passing, Moses recounts the overwhelming grief and shock he experienced. He describes the traumatic experience of seeing Anele on television, covered in foil, and the anguish of not being able to be with her in her final moments.

Through his interview, Moses Tembe seeks to shed light on the complexities surrounding Anele’s death and honor her memory.
