South Africans React to Cassper Nyovest’s Latest ‘NthoTse Monate’ Dance Challenge.
Cassper Nyovest is back with a new track for the upcoming festive season titled Ntho Tse Monate. Despite receiving criticism and being called a “fallen artist” by some, the South African rapper remains positive about his career and the impact of his latest release.
On social media, Cassper shared a clip of the track along with a dance challenge, hoping it would catch fire and become a big hit in 2025. In his caption, he expressed optimism, saying, “Leaving behind this year’s issues as we look forward to 2025. It’s only NTHO TSE MONATE next year.”

However, the dance challenge launch stirred up a mixed response online.
While many fans welcomed the new tune, others voiced disappointment in both the song and the challenge itself. Here’s a glimpse at some of the reactions:
- “Dear Kiernan, Look at the kind of stuff we’re dealing with.”
- “Maybe he just wanted us to see his house… I honestly don’t even get what’s happening.”
- “I like Cassper, but enough is enough! It’s been lackluster music since 2020. Maybe he should take a break and come back as Refiloe for fresh inspiration.”
- “This challenge is just plain boring.”
- “When will they realize you don’t ‘launch’ a challenge? If it’s good, it’ll spread naturally. Shimza tried this a while back, and only he and Athi still do it.”
