The popular Mzansi Magic drama series My Brother’s Keeper has reportedly been cancelled.
Entertainment commentator Phil Kgopolo shared the update on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that the show will not return for a third season.

Many social media users expressed relief and excitement about the cancellation.

Another noted, “Honestly, it was getting repetitive. Two seasons of fighting over the CEO role – I thought it would be about brothers uniting against their toxic father or something.”
Others pointed out how only SABC and eTV telenovelas seem to last in the long run. “I thought this show was doing well,” a tweep remarked. “The production seemed modest; you’d think the budget was manageable.”
The show’s abrupt end has sparked a wave of mixed reactions from viewers across social media.
